Dog walkers are reminded that dogs in their charge must be kept on a lead as this is a recreation area, not a park.  All dog faeces must be removed and deposited in the bin provided.  Apart from the obvious unpleasant effects of dog fouling there are potential health risks. Dogs can be affected by several types of worm, one of which can cause serious illness in children.

It is an offence for any person in charge of a dog not to remove any faeces deposited by a dog in their charge.
