The Parish Council kindly reminds all residents with hedges, large borders, plants or trees that overhang public highways, that cutting back and maintaining is absolutely essential to aid visibility, accessibility and safety.
Residents are responsible for maintaining their hedges, verges, and banks that border the highway. If Kent Highways considers your hedges or banks to be overgrown, it may cut them and bill you for the work.
