The Parish Apple Day was held in the community orchard on Saturday 28 September 2024.
Not only were we blessed with a beautifully sunny day, a good number of Parishioners turned up to pick and press apples and then taste the rewards of their labours. Although the harvest was limited this year, there was plenty of apple juice for all as well as apples to take home for a delicious pie or crumble.
Grateful thanks to all those who loaned their equipment and expertise and gave up their time voluntarily to make the day so special.
